CEC Kids
Jesus said “Leave the little children alone, and don’t try to keep them from coming to me, because the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)
We welcome all children, babies through 5th grade during our weekly programs. Our Children’s Ministry is designed to help our kids learn about who God is, provide a loving community that they can be part of, and be transformed to love and live like Jesus.
Our prayer and hope is for this next generation to be strongly rooted in their faith, to love God faithfully, and to be the hands and feet of Jesus wherever they go.
Family Service Project
We are excited to announce our first family service project of the year! On Saturday, July 20th we will be partnering with Father's Heart Street Ministry which is a Christian organization that serves those that are faced with challenges such as homelessness, hunger, and addictions. Through their ministry, they are able to provide those that come through their doors with proper medical care, counseling, warm meals, and a place to rest.
During this time, we will help clean their building, build kits for the people they serve, clean out the sleeping mats, and other things that they may need help around the place.
This is a wonderful family discipleship opportunity and helps teach our kids what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We pray and hope that this would lead our family into serving together and to have more conversation on how we can live out our faith in the way God called us to, and look for opportunities to care for our neighbors!
