Vision: Our vision is to be a community of Christ-followers on a mission to know Jesus and to make him known. As an Asian-American expression of Christ's Church, we are intentionally engaging our international neighbors to provide a foretaste of heaven's multicultural reality.
Strategy: We believe that the gospel transforms us holistically: heart, head, and hands. To that end, we engage the heart through Sunday worship gatherings that center on singing, preaching, and The Lord’s Table. We engage the head through Sunday classes so that we can grow in our knowledge of God. And we engage the hands as we foster fellowship, discipleship, and mission by offering weekly home-based small groups that explore Scripture and serve together.

Welcome to Chinese Evangelical Church of Portland (CEC)! Our purpose is to help people come to know and develop a living, interactive relationship with Jesus Christ in a community. Our pastors are dedicated to bearing witness to Jesus Christ as the people's Savior and teaching the Bible as the true and trustworthy truth for all life. We have three worship services: an adult Chinese class, an adult English class and a youth English class. Please come and experience church life with us; we are very close to Highway 26 and have convenient transportation; please give us a chance to be friends with you!
